The Elk Hair Caddis is well known. This one gets more flotability from CdC feathers.

All sedges or caddis flies don't make it. They got stuck in the surface or they crash land. Whatever, you can find them in the water. This fly hangs in the surface and the boby is sticking down under it like it was half drowning. Perfect when theres a hatch going on or when they are egg laying.

CdC Vesterelva Caddis

Vesterelva I found in northern Norway a few years ago. Quite large with orange body and brown wings. This CdC-modell has worked well when these orange caddisflies are hatching.

The Real SedgeWing is colored fabrik from Virtual Nymph. It makes the sedgeflies look fine.

The deer hackle makes the caddis float better and gives the fly a better profile.

The cinnamon sedge needs no presentation. This one has wings made of a special sedgewing material and foam over the thorax. The deer hackle enhances the floatation. Very real.
